    2. A bit slow to get going, when I can set it down after finishing about half and not really care about the ending, clearly something is wrong Overall, I think it may work for others, it just didn t work for me.

    3. Excellent world building, combined with vivid characters, made Blood Chimera an unexpected surprise I loved the gritty film noir feel of the book, and the way the story unfolded with plenty of twists and turns to hold my attention This is a must read for fans of paranormal, urban fantasy Well done Ms Lyons

    4. A good read Fast paced Detective thriller with a different take on Vampires, shape shifters, and others who go bump in the night The protagonist is a newly made vampire who struggles to find his way in this new life I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
